Lehman Construction’s philosophy is to deliver a quality product on time and within budget by performing for our customers the highest level of quality construction services with competitive pricing. To ensure the longevity of our company we strive to model our practices around Henry Ford’s quote; “The man who will use his skill and constructive imagination to see how much he can give for a dollar, instead of how little he can give for a dollar is bound to succeed.”
A Brief History
Kenny Lehman is the Managing Member and one of the founders of Lehman Construction, LLC. He has worked in the construction industry since getting out of high school. Kenny and his brother Dennis, aka “Ears,” started Lehman Construction, LLC from the ground up in 1997. Kenny and his wife, Jennifer, have been the sole owners of the company since 2005 with Kenny acting as the Managing Member for the company. Under his management, Lehman Construction, LLC has seen revenues grow by over 400%. He has also expanded his work force from 10 employees to 75+ and was recognized with the below achievements.
Kenny Lehman worked right beside his employees in the field for the first 8 years of business before shifting his focus to working on the day to day running of the business. He is still very involved in the bidding and construction of each of the projects. Kenny is ultimately responsible for the success of every one of our projects, which consist of 100+ bridge or bridge deck replacements, miles of waterline, Sanitary and Storm sewer pipe, along with miles of concrete pavement widening all over the state of Missouri. Lehman Construction has built bridges over all 4 of the major railroads that travel across the state (KCSR, UP, BNSF, Norfolk Southern), over or on 3 major interstates (I-44, I-55, and I-49), over various bodies of water (Pomme De Terre River, Truman Lake, Osage River, Stockton Lake, etc). We have also built 4 Railroad bridges for the Army Corp of Engineers. All these projects were completed successfully and on time or ahead of schedule. Kenny was an integral part of the management during every project by attending periodic weekly progress meetings and dealing with MoDOT on issues as they arose. Kenny continues to keep an eye on the progress of all the construction projects being done by the company to ensure that quality work and jobs are staying on schedule.
